Title:The most selling car in Japan

Do you know what is car that sells the most in Japan?
And I am not an employee of automobile company today.

It is ***** of ******.
2008081923-1_convert_20100525005748.jpg
Then numbers of its sales in this April are 35,546 units.
Even the car delivery in Japan is waiting during half a year.

However, why does ***** sell so much in Japan?
It is not in top 10 in the United States and Germany either.
Then, I will tell you about my opinion on ***** today.

I apologize first if you have a *****.
It is a personal opinion. Please do not worry.

1.First, I will explain what system is adopted on *****.
***** has a gasoline engine and an electric motor to move a car.
It is called HV system.
An electric motor will be used at low speed range.
A gasoline engine will be used at mid and high speed range.
As a result, fuel consumption is tremendous, 38km per a liter that was written on the catalog.
Because a large amount of gasoline is consumed by the acceleration at the low speed range.

2.Then, I will tell you the main points.
First, it is the realities of *****.
There is big gap on the fuel consumption between actual and catalog one.
The actual number is **km per a liter that I searched by Internet.
It is a difference of **km from catalog.

Why do you think occurs such a big gap.

An electric motor demonstrates the performance that is the merit in an urban area that repeats Stop & Go in short time.
It is likely to become the fuel consumption of 38km surely.
This is because the battery of an electric motor will be charged by repeat of Stop & Go in short time.
It is as a result of keeps using an electric motor at low-speed range.

This means HV is the best solution of the commuting congestion in the Japan city where there are a lot of traffic lights.
107296_convert_20100525005347.jpg

However, the battery that moves an electric motor will be dead on the going up road like the mountain path, and an electric motor and a battery become a just heavy weight.

It is possible to move only 2km that is maximum capacity in the performance of a current battery with one charge.

Moreover, fuel consumption doesn't improve in the expressway that is always at high speed range because it only uses a gasoline engine.

Therefore, fuel consumption will be changed greatly by the usage pattern for HV.
This is a cause of the difference between catalog and actual one.
However, ***** owners seem to be satisfied even at **km in word of mouth information on Internet.

3.Next, I think the point that is a price of HV.
There is a price difference of one million yen when you will select the hybrid vehicle from a normal one.
Even the person who drives well cannot counterbalance it for 5 years or more.

4. Finally my conclusion.
The bottom line is the HV doesn't match to its price.
I think that you should wait to buy the HV for a while after improvement of HV system.
Actually, various manufacturers are researching the battery.
The dreamlike HV might appear soon.
01_l_convert_20100525005326.jpg

So, do you buy a HV now or not?

オマケ:以下は時間がなくカット
The first question still remains.
So, why does ****** sell the most in Japan now?

Following is what I assume.
I think that it is a point who is buying a *****.
It is a person who owned the large-sized car such as a Crown.
They transferred to a *****.

Their mind is:
The large-sized car is not driven easily.
The children already departed from our life, and it gets on two of us.
The contribution to society can be done.
The costs the gasoline and maintenance fee of Crown is high.
Show off the HV, and its newest technology!

I thought that they are forming the ***** freak.
Their segment is very large now at the time of keep increasing the number of senior citizens.
It was actually described that 57% of ***** buyers were 50 years old or more in the daily car newspaper on June 20.

This is why dose ****** sell the most in Japan now.

QTC Invocation

Contest後初めてのQTCに参加した!

今回ちょうど良くInvocationを担当した
内容はContestの感想を説明し、励ましてくれたQTCメンバーに感謝を伝えた
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you know I participated in the last TM Area Speech Contest.
Today I will tell you about my impression of my speech contest.

First, this is a secret. Can you keep it?
Okay, I contrived the domination of the TM world before the contest.
I realized that my ambition was disappeared below the horizon when contest was started, 残念!
(↑受けを狙ったものだが、QTCメンバーは真剣に受け止めて”しら~”となる)

I was not able to pass this area contest.
And I understand my ability of English.

However I learned some valuable lessons.

I had been particularly nervous while performing my speech.
My mind went blank once while performing my speech.
I think it is necessary to get a laugh from audience at the beginning of my speech in order to reduce pressure that I usually use it at my office.
The bottom line is I have to stop showing off.

Either way I was a complete defeat, even if I do my speech without mistakes.
The winners who 3 monsters, オットsorry, ladies had great skills that I couldn't imitate anything.
(↑Monstersは受けた、皆さんそう思っていたのかな?)

However, it was an interesting experience.
I concentrated my mind on speech contest from this January.
I had successively performed a speaker about 3 projects, 4, 5 and 6 to get the qualification for contest and practiced my speech contest.
I studied quite well, even if I do say so myself.
I was convinced if I try, I can do it.

Finally, I really appreciated your cooperation.
Your warm comments and help encouraged me to try it.

QTC International Speech Contest

I participated in the QTC Area Speech Contest.

Unfortunately, I was not able to pass this area contest.
I think the 3 winners had a great skills that I couldn't imitate anything.
It was a complete defeat.

However, it was an interesting experience.
I concentrated my mind on contest just 2 weeks during commute, lunch break and after work.
I studied quite well, even if I do say so myself.
I was convinced if I try, I can do it.

Finally, I appreciate my great friends showing up on such short notice.
TN-san,Shiba-san,Ohta-san,Chiba-san,Kamei-san,Ishida-san,Mikami-san,
Miyoshi-san,Kamata-san,Abe-san,Hiroshima-san,Sato-san,Sakuragi-san,

Following is my speech : My Dream Come True
****************************************************
Do you have any dreams ?
I’m sure you have dreams in your heart.
Do you want your dreams to come true ?

34378531_org_convert_20100318233753.jpg

I will tell you how one of my dreams came true for me,
because I know that a dream only comes true
when there is passion and determination behind it.

Let me share an inspiring story with you.
It’s about my friend, Matsuda-san.
He is a mountaineer.
He had a powerful vibrant dream to climb Mt. Everest.
But in 1992,
he was caught in a horrendous alpine accident in China.
From this accident,
he lost both his legs below the knee;
and he lost all his fingers.

Did that stop him?

34378543_org_convert_20100318233501.jpg

No, he pushes on …
He never abandoned his dream to climb to the top of the world's highest mountain.
After he recovered, he started again in 1994.
He climbed a lesser mountain successfully in 1994.
Remember he is doing this with artificial legs.
He has climbed a lot of mountains since then.
Finally, he was ready to tackle Mt. Everest in 1995.
_______________________________________________

As for myself, I do not have such a magnificent dream.

My dream was to climb mountains,
starting with the Japan Alps.
I never guessed it would actually come true.
I thought it was a dangerous place… far from Hiroshima.

However, I found myself wanting to climb the Japan Alps more and more.
Then, I met Matsuda-san.

34378520_org_convert_20100319000238.jpg

He has tremendous positive energy.
He has a strong forward-looking approach
that he backs up with effort.
He was buzzing with excitement for me.
He was very encouraging,
and in sharing, I felt his passion.
He got me feeling so confident and positive.

I was inspired and motivated !
I screamed in my mind…
” Yes, I want my dream! Yes, I can do it!”
When I think about my situation and what he has to go through
to reach his dream….
Anything is possible !!”.

Then I committed myself to making my dream come true.
I also realized that nothing can be achieved without effort.
It was time to take the first big step toward my dream.
_______________________________________________

I started climbing some mountains in western Japan with 2 of my mountain buddies,
to gain a great level of skills and knowledge.
Finally, we challenged climbing Mt. Turuji last June.
It took us 9 hours.
Although we came near to an alpine accident,
climbing Mt. Turugi was one of my most amazing and memorable experiences.

On that day, the weather forecast said 'cloudy with occasional showers'.
So, we had decided to walk.
But it was rain all day.
During the climb, our map got wet
and it was melting into nothing.
That caused us to lose one valuable hour of time.
Trying to makeup the lost time, we did not take a rest
and we ate only some junk-food like calorie mate bars.

My mind was not working properly but I continued to climb.
We almost lost our way.

I learned three valuable lessons from that day:
1.It is necessary to rest and take nutritious food once every hour.
2.It is important to have a map and look after it.
3.Lastly, consider the weather.
In the high mountains, the weather can change suddenly.
When the weather turns bad, when it rains, everything stops.
_____________________________________________________

Finally, last year, on October 8,
we made our debut on the Japan Alps.

How I had waited for that moment !!
The altitude was 3,190m.
That was my first experience at that altitude.
The scenery was spectacular !
I had never seen anything like it before.
It just didn’t seem to be in Japan.
It was like experiencing another world !

My first dream had been achieved.

I believe with all my heart that
‘dreams do come true’.
My next dream is to climb the European Alps,
Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Grandes jorasses and Eiger
These are the mountains I want to see, to climb, to conquer.

To do this,
I need to practice and climb the Japan Alps many more times
to build up my skills and experience.

Now, I urge you to try hard to achieve your dreams.
Go after your dreams with passion !
…because you will find meaning and fulfillment in your life.

QTC Speech #6

Project 6: Workout

1. Opening
Tonight, I want to talk about how to MAKE and SHAPE your body to GET your success !

Good evening TM and welcome guests.

Do you know who Schwa-cha is ?
He is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Of course you all know that he is the governor of California.
He made the best use of his popularity as a movie star, and he won.
However, the secret behind his success story is bodybuilding.
I think his first goal was to become the greatest bodybuilder in the world.
Actually, he won the world championship 7 times.
Then he used his huge muscular body to become a world famous movie star.

Again the key point of his success story is bodybuilding.
2010012218160000_convert_20100124174037.jpg

That is one very good example of someone
getting very successful
by building up his body.

So, how can we do that ?

2. Body
1)First, it is important to set a goal when you start to make your body.
I think the types of goals would depend on person to person.
For example, someone might want to become a famous move star, such as Schwa-cha?
Or, Someone might want to become a professional tennis player?
Or, Someone might want to become a famous fashion model?

And others. etc… etc… (et cetera…et cetera)

There are a wide variety of goals.
Setting a goal will get you motivated.
Then, you can do your workout to sustain yourself.

Also the types of exercise that you do,
will be different
depending on the goal you set.

3)Next, I will share with you
what to do to work toward your goal.
For example in weight lifting,
the result of your efforts will be different
depending on how you will do your workout.

If you want to become a movie star like Schwa-can,
you have to make your muscles grow as BIG and MASSIVE as possible.
In this case, the load level of your practice should be 70% of your maximum lift weight
and you lift it up 10 times in one set.

If you want to become a professional tennis player,
you have to have sudden explosive power to hit a powerful serve.
the load level of your practice should be 90% of your maximum lift weight
and you lift it up 1 or 2 times in one set.

Then,
If you want to become a fashion model, you have to make a perfect shape.
the load level of your practice should be 30% of your maximum lift weight
and you lift it up 30 times in one set

4) And these routines will be effective
if you do them 2 sets at each practice.

5) Next, you can do your workout as frequently as every 2 or 3 days.
Right after a workout, the muscles need 2 or 3 days to reinvigorate.

If the training is repeated, your muscles will get used to the weight.
Then please raise the weight a little, just 1or 2kgs.
Your muscles will improve constantly by doing this repetition.

6) Then you have to know
which parts of your body you should train …
You should start training the big muscles,
because they are backbone of your body.
The four muscular parts of your body are:
the chest, the back, the legs, and the abdominals.
If you want to compare your body to a tree,
these muscle parts would be like the trunk of a tree.
Our bodies are the same as trees.
Before the trunk fully grows up, the branches and the leaves don't grow.
In other words,
if the trunk is trained hard, the branches and the leaves tend to become strong altogether.

C. Conclusion
Finally, please don't overexert yourself!
Do you know "religious austerities「荒行」"?
They are one of the challenging exercises done by priests.
It is a method of training the soul by chosen discomfort.
It is the same as
when someone tends to have the view of “no pain, no gain”.

If you have this misunderstanding,
It’s possible that you will injure yourself in the worst-case,
or you may give up when things don't go your way.
So, you shouldn’t do that.
Don't overwork yourself.
The most important thing is to take it easy.

QTC Speech #5

英語Speechコンテストに出ようと思いQTCに120%集中!!
今週もQTCでスピーチにTry!

今回のテーマは”Your Body Speaks"
スタンス、動き、ジェスチャー、表情、アイコンタクトが課題だ!
やってみると、案外おもしれぇ~!

英語はmenterのチェックを受けていないので全く自信はないが以下の通りだ

Project 5: healthy people

1. Opening
Good evening TM and welcome guests.

We say that people become less and less healthy as they get older and older.

For example,
1. People tend to get forgetful with weak memory.
2. The body becomes weaker and/or fat
3. Easy to get tired soon no matter what they do.
And everything else.

Do you give it up in your mind as hopeless?
I think there is no need to despair.
You shouldn't give up.

My belief is that weight lifting is the best solution of those problems.

So, I would like to share with you how great it is.
6a01101663c576860d011017b03f3f860e_convert_20100215230735.jpg

2. Body
First, as you know that your stamina, muscle strength and power will be improved by weight lifting.
I think no more explanations are needed.
If you try it, there is nothing makes you feel more powerful.
You can feel a lot of energy.

For example, I am doing my workout twitch a week. only one hour
But I can easily play rugby and climb a mountain.
If you cannot believe me.
Would you try the arm wrestling with me?
6a01101663c576860d011017a7df85860e_convert_20100215231543.jpg

Next, you will become quick thinker by weight lifting.
Do you know why?

The mechanism of body movement is that muscles will be moved by the command from the brain.
The brain usually doses not work well to respond sensitively response in daily life.
Because brain was get used to daily actions.

As for the weight lifting, the brain will work well to respond sensitively response to lift the weight
and also commanding to muscles to lift them with keeping a balance for safety.
This will lead to activation of brain.
Then you will become quick thinker.

Although I cannot guarantee it, I leaned it based from my experience
and it is introduced in various books.

Finally, you can change your body to fat resistant.

I think in general, the way of shape up of your body is an aerobic exercise such as jogging and cycling.
There are the best exercises for burning fat.

On the other hand, build up your muscles by weight lifting is another way of burning fat too.
It will increase basal metabolism 基礎代謝by building up your muscles.

The basal metabolism is the energy consumed when you are sleeping or not doing any activities.
It makes up 70% of daily calories used, because the muscles repeat a little vibration.
Then fat will be burned as this vibration consumes the energy.

This is how to shape up your body by weight lifting.

C. Conclusion
That is all my thinking of preventing the aging.
Your brain and body will be reacted sensitively by a stimulus.
Would you try workout with me.
You can clearly understand how great it is.

QTC Speech #4

This is 4th speech. "My Dream"
Though I say it myself, I think I did quite well.

A. Opening
Do you have a dream? Yes, I have them also.
Why would I ask you about your dream?
My belief is that a dream only comes true when there is a strong will behind it.

I would like to share a story about my friend "Matsuda-san" who is a mountaineer,
he had a powerful vibrant dream to climb Mt. Everest.
However, he was faced with a tough problem on Chinese mountain in 1992.
Following an alpine accident resulted in him losing his legs below the knee and losing all his fingers.

Did that stop him?

No, he pushes on and never abandons his plan to climb to the top of the world's highest mountain.
Then he started, he climbed a lesser mountain successfully in 1994.
Remember he is doing this with artificial legs.
He climbed a lot of mountain since then.

B. Body
Me, I do not have such a magnificent dream.

He has big positive energy and a strong forward-looking approach that he backs up with effort.
CIMG0001_convert_20100126212824.jpg
Now I am feeling more confident and positive.
I screamed within my mind ” Yes, we can. Sorry Barack Obama. Yes, I can, can’t I?
I think about my situation compared to him. Anything is possible”.

Then I committed myself to making my dream come true.
I realise that nothing is achieved without effort.
It was time to take the first big step toward my dream.

I started with TN-san and Sakuragi-san, who are my mountain buddies, to gain a great level of skills and knowledge by climbing some mountains in western Japan area.

One of the amazing, fantastic experiences was climbing Mt. Turugi last June.
It took us 9 hours ad we came near to an alpine accident.

It rained and our map got wet and was dissolving in to nothing.
That was the cause of our losing one valuable hour of time.
And we did not take a rest and ate only small junk-food as a calorie mate during that time. My mind was not work properly as the climb continued.
Finally, the weather forecast that day said 'cloudy with occasional showers'.

2.It is important to have a map and look after it.
3.Lastly consider the weather. On a mountain this is variable
When it rains everything stops, the weather becomes bad.

C. Conclusion
Now, finally, we made our debut on the Japan Alps between October 8 -11- 2009.
How I had waited for that moment.
It is like experiencing another world.

QTC Speech #3

Thanks!
また、見に来てくれよ。

参考にSpeech内容を添付する。興味が湧いたらコメント頼むよ!

Project 3: This is Rugby

1. Opening
1) Captures audience attention
Who thinks Rugby is a disorganized and barbarous sport?
That may be because you do not understand it.
Would it surprise you to hear that it is actually very organized and civilized?

In rugby, the end of the game is called "no side" instead of "game over”.
This means both sides of defense and attack are gone when the game is over.
Then players, who have just been competing fiercely, suddenly praise each other as worthy competitors. This is called the rugby spirit.

2) Leads into speech topic
Why did I explain about rugby? I would like you to see rugby as a game like Carp or Sanfrecce.
I think everyone here could really enjoy watching rugby being played.
However I heard someone say they don’t understand the rules so therefore cannot enjoy watching it being played.
・Even if you don’t know the rules, you can still enjoy watching a rugby game without having a reason, simply for enjoyment.
・You only need to understand a few things to get the real thrill of rugby and to enjoy watching it.

Today I will give you just 2 easy-to-understand points that demonstrate the real thrills of rugby.

2. Body
1) Dynamic Clash
First, realize that rugby is a dynamic fighting sport.
You can see the dynamic clash played with powerful hitting sound during the game.
They are so powerful you can see, hear and feel the clashes right in front of your eyes.
‘Clash and dash’ against a competitor is not in the rules for other sports.
This creates a tremendous visual impact compared with being a spectator of other sports.

I urge you to watch for yourself, I have no doubt that you will experience more thrills and exhilaration as you watch the players do battle on the field.
It will raise your fighting spirit, one that you can easily forget in your daily life.

The highlight of ‘clash play’ is the tackle.
Players tackle their rival who is running at top speed.
This means players need unbelievable courage.
The players are big and strong and just imagine a brick building running full speed at you!
After the tackle has been successfully completed, you can feel a change of tide in the battle.
And the teammates will be risen their fighting spirit.

Also, for your information, there is a clash play about 40 times a game at least.
This means you can see a powerful clash play once every 2 minutes.

2). Fantastic Running Play while passing the ball.
Next is Fantastic Running Play. No matter what other say, it is fantastic.
It goes forward with top speed running while passing the ball.
Then final player is running while dodge between some tacklers or dash off some tacklers.
Then try! I have definitely no doubt that it feels great to watch it.

You can see those great fantastic running just in front of you.
It has a tremendous impact compare with other sports.

To continue, the passing of the ball is very important for running play.
You may think it is just passing a ball to next player. However it is completely different.
The player who has to pass the ball, is under huge pressure from his tackler.
He needs to be mentally strong to be able to dismiss his fear and believe he can break through and pass to his own team member.
If he does not then, it is not successful. I definitely believe it is very profound and powerful play.

I will explain the pass play with a simple example.
Imagine one tackler in front of us. We are just 2 players.
If I just pass a ball to anther player. A tackler will tackle another player. Then our play will be stopped.
But if I pass a ball to another player just before I am tackled by tackler, another player can run without a competitor.
This is a very simple technique, but it is very difficult to play. It also
means the player has to play to dismiss his fear and believe his team player will be there.

3. Ending
So you see how amazing and exciting the game is?
Simply considering 2 plays, demonstrates the basic play of a game that you can watch frequently. It means you can enjoy watching a rugby game without reason.

Close your eyes for one minute and imagine that you are in the rugby stadium and seeing my rugby game.
Take a moment to see what you can see, the players, our jerseys, all pumped up hear the cheers, the encouragement of the crowd, the buzz in the air.
Feel the feelings of euphoria, you feel pumped up, what you can hear and feel what you can feel. See it in brighter bolder colors, double the sound of cheering.
Now, you see a powerful tackle just in front of you.
Then player is passing a ball to the next player just before he is tackled by competitor.
The next player goes forward with top speed running while he passes the ball.
Then finally the player is running, dodging between tacklers.
Then victory, you score a try! Wow!
The excitement is amazing.
(I will chang my clothes to rugby uniform at this minute)

Open your eyes; here before you is a great rugby player.
